    Brown Co. Emergency Management says drivers should avoid any roads that are closed due to flooding.

    Cass St., John St., and Kimball and E to John St., and Eliza St. East of Goodell St. and South along Suydam St. to Emilie St. are closed until further notice.

    Roads that are flooded in Brown County are the following:

    A state of emergency has been declared for Green Bay by Mayor Jim Schmitt.

    Green Bay Area Public School District is closed Friday due to some flooding in areas of schools. The district says the time lost will need to be made up. No plan has been announced for that.

    • Northbound lanes of Riverside Drive from W. St. Joseph St. to Allouez Ave.

    Residents of Allouez are also asked to limit water usage for showers, laundry, flushing toilets until 4 p.m. Saturday to allow time for the system to get caught up. The water is safe to drink.

    Manitowoc County

    • The Shoto area is closed, near the dam, along County B

    Oconto County

    • ZZ & Goldhorn Road was closed overnight, near Pound

    Waushara County

    Road Closures:

    • Highway 21 from I-39 to Adams County line is closed

    Outagamie County

    • Grand Chute

    Road Closures:

    • County JJ between Mayflower and McCarthy

    Residents looking for sandbags can use the driveway to the left of the Town Hall, go through the fenced-in area behind Town Hall. They will find the sand piled in front of the salt shed covered with a blue tarp. Sand, sand bags, shovels and sand bag fillers will be available for their use. Residents will fill their own bags. They should cover the sand pile when they are finished. Once the sand/bags are no longer needed, they must be disposed of properly.

    Sheboygan County

    • Kiwanis Park Dr. south of 17th St. and Kiwanis Park Rd.
    • New Jersey Ave. (and the surrounding side streets) between S. 17th St and Wildwood Ave.

    Green Lake County

    Road Closures:

    • STH 44 at Grand River, west of Markesan. Detour is CTH U to CTH I back to STH 44
    • CTH T at Sugarloaf Road west of Green Lake
    • CTH B just east of Kingston, from STH 44 to CTH KK/H
    • CTH S east of Markesan between CTH A and CTH Q
    • CTH O south of Markesan between CTH AW and Prairie Rd.

    Other ponding of water has occurred on local roadways. Drivers, be careful. Be prepared to stop or avoid dangerous looking roadways. Do not drive through water on the road.
