GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- Green Bay is experiencing its earliest season heat wave on record, according to the National Weather Service.
Temperatures hit 90 degrees Tuesday, marking the fifth straight day of high temperatures in the 90's in Green Bay.
Typically heat waves of this duration usually occur later in the summer as the cooler waters of the Bay of Green Bay and Lake Michigan keep temperatures more moderate early in the summer, NWS reports.
