Winter Storm Abigail drops several inches on Northeast Wisconsin

WLUK Graphic

(WLUK) -- Winter Storm Abigail broke the Dec. 13 snowfall record for Green Bay.

6.9 inches of snow fell on Green Bay Wednesday, breaking the record of 4.7 inches set in 1909.

Blowing and drifting snow will make driving difficult, since winds pick up with gusts to 30 mph.

The Brown County Sheriff's Department says it responded to more than 60 weather traffic related incidents between 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Thursday we'll have mostly cloudy skies with a high of only 22 degrees.
