SHAWANO COUNTY, Wis. (WLUK) -- Thin ice has caused ice fishing shanties on Shawano Lake to plunge into the water this week.

In one case, a vehicle also broke through the ice while towing a shanty.

These photos were taken Thursday by Matthew James with Distinct Aerial Shotz. He captured a few different shacks that have fallen into the water so far.

Other photos show cracks in the ice and varying levels of ice thickness all over the lake.

Wednesday night, the Shawano County Sheriff's office helped a driver who had broken through the ice. It's not clear if that is the same vehicle as the one seen in the drone photos.
