GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- This year's Green Bay Packers shareholders meeting will be part of a larger week of events the team is planning.

The annual meeting at Lambeau Field is set for 7 p.m. July 25, the team announced Thursday.

The meeting will coincide with festivities marking the 100th season of Packers football, the organization says. It will also coincide with the beginning of training camp. The team has called a news conference for Monday morning to release more details on the 100th season events.

Packers officials recommend fans coming from out of town wait to make travel arrangements until the full schedule of activities has been announced.

Information about the meeting is available at the Packers shareholders' website. It will be updated with more details as the meeting approaches.

Shareholders can expect to receive a formal notice in mid-June.

Last year's meeting drew about 7,000 shareholders to Lambeau Field.
