Packers place Kevin King on IR

GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- The Green Bay Packers' top draft pack is out for the season.

The team placed cornerback Kevin King on injured reserve Wednesday. King has been dealing with with a shoulder injury. He played in nine games this year, recording 28 tackles and broke up 5 passes.

King was the Packers' top choice in the second round after they traded away their first-round selection.

To replace King, the Packers activated cornerback Demetri Goodson from the physically unable to perform list.
