GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- The Green Bay Packers have officially announced the signing of four free agents.
The Packers on Thursday confirmed the signings of outside linebackers Preston Smith and Za'Darius Smith, safety Adrian Amos and guard/tackle Billy Turner.
Preston Smith spent his first four seasons in Washington. He has never missed an NFL game, appearing in 64 total games, starting 50. For his career, Smith has 24.5 sacks; four forced fumbles; four interceptions; 13 passes defensed; three fumble recoveries, including one returned for a touchdown; and 163 total tackles. His only playoff appearance was the 2015 wild card game against the Packers, when he recorded three tackles and a sack that resulted in a safety.
Za'Darius Smith appeared in 58 total games, starting 16, over four years with the Baltimore Ravens. Over his career, Smith has recorded 18.5 sacks, five passes defensed, three forced fumbles and 119 tackles.
Adrian Amos comes from the NFC North rival Chicago Bears, where he appeared in 60 games with 56 starts over four years. Amos has intercepted three passes, returning one for a touchdown; forced three fumbles and recovered two more; and made 305 tackles, including 13 tackles for loss. He has also recorded seven special teams tackles.
Over his five-year career, Billy Turner has played with the Miami Dolphins, Baltimore Ravens and Denver Broncos. He has appeared in 40 games, starting 25, including 19 at right guard, four at right tackle, and one each at left tackle and left guard.
