'Packers Family Night' and 'Packers Experience' surround training camp

GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- An annual event centered around football and family is returning for its 18th year.

Packers Family Night at Lambeau Field is set for Saturday, Aug. 4.

Tickets are $10 each and go on sale June 27 at 10:00 a.m. through Ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.

The night features tailgating activities, a live practice on the field and fireworks display.

To add more excitement to the week leading up to Packers Family Night, the team is hosting an event series celebrating its 100th season.

The Packers Experience is a four-day free festival running in conjunction with Packers Training Camp, beginning on July 26.

The Packers Experience will feature four different areas outside Lambeau Field with activities including live music, a replica team locker room, Packers alumni question-and-answer sessions, photo stations and prizes through Packers Pass.

Each date will also feature a theater playing a 12-minute excerpt from "Legacy: 100 Seasons of the Green Bay Packers, presented by American Family Insurance."

The dates are as follows:

  • Thursday, July 26, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Friday, July 27, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, July 28, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Sunday, July 29, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Prior to the team's first day at training camp is the Packers' Shareholders meeting at Lambeau Field, Wednesday, July 25.
