(WLUK) -- The numbers are in for day two of the sturgeon spearing season.

Senior Fisheries Biologist Ryan Koenigs says the harvest on Lake Winnebago came in at 56.

On the upriver lakes fishers saw a few more sturgeon, the final count coming in at 68 Sunday.

The DNR says the season should wrap up in the upriver lakes pretty soon.

"This may not seem like that far off, but more than 40% of spearers have already tagged out so effort will be reduced during the remainder of the season. I anticipate the Upriver Lakes season will go at least into mid-week," Koenigs said in a press release.

The biggest fish of the day was harvested by Joseph Orlando, coming in at 147.3 pounds and 77.5 inches.
