STEVENS POINT (WLUK) -- There is no timetable for adding a shot clock to high school basketball games in Wisconsin.

At a meeting today, the WIAA Board of Control voted not to implement its original plan to implement the shot clock during the 2019-20 season. The board also voted against a plan to add the clock in 2021-22.

The shot clock plan was originally approved in June, but some athletic directors said they did not like the plan. Many said they were concerned about the costs of installing clocks and training operators.
