Quincy Anderson signs to play basketball at Minnesota State-Mankato (WLUK).

OSHKOSH (WLUK) -- Former Oshkosh North guard Quincy Anderson signed to play basketball at Division II school Minnesota State-Mankato Thursday evening.

Anderson averaged nearly 18 points per game his senior season and helped Oshkosh North win its first state title in school history last month.

"I knew where I wanted to go after the state tournament," he said. "Mankato really just stuck out to me, everything about it was amazing. To go where I'm wanted, where I will be a priority, where I can see myself growing, it's really special to me and my family."

Minnestoa-Mankato competes in one of Division II's toughest athletic conferences, the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.

The NSIC is home to this year's men's basketball national runner-up, Northern State.

"I'm going to be the best I can be and I feel like I need to play the best players in order to that, and I will be doing that in the NSIC."
