OSHKOSH (WLUK) -- The UW-Oshkosh softball team split its games on the second day of the NCAA Tournament and advanced to the championship game of the regional Saturday.
The Titans fell to Concordia Wisconsin 9-1 in their first game Friday, and needed to beat Luther College a few hours later to keep the season alive.
The Titans were down 2-0 early, but came back to defeat the Norse 6-2.
Hannah Ritter continued an impressive streak at the plate, staying perfect for the fourth straight game. She was two-for-two against Concordia and went three-for-three against Luther.
Her RBI single sparked a four-run fifth inning against the Norse.
Sophie Wery hit a two-run home run, her tenth of the year for the 5-2 lead.
The Titans will now face Concordia Wisconsin at 11 a.m. If needed, the second game of the day will be at 1:30 p.m.
