CHICAGO (WLUK) -- Lambeau Field won't be the only historic stadium the University of Wisconsin football team plays in during the 2020 season.

According to a report in the Chicago Tribune, the Badgers will play Northwestern at Wrigley Field in Chicago on Nov. 7. The newspaper reports that Northwestern and Chicago Cubs officials are expected to officially announce the game on Tuesday.

Northwestern and Illinois played at Wrigley Field in 2010, the first football game at the stadium since the Chicago Bears left for Soldier Field after the 1970 season. The 2010 game was notable because both offenses were forced to play toward the same end zone, as the playing area was not large enough to safely accommodate the football field. Renovations to Wrigley Field since then included removable seats aimed at allowing enough space for football games.

The 2020 game will come on the heels of the Badgers' matchup against Notre Dame at Lambeau Field Oct. 3. Those teams are scheduled to meet again at Soldier Field the following year.
