Phoenix women hold off Penguins, 65-56

GREEN BAY (WLUK) - Karly Murphy scored 14 points and Jessica Lindstrom had 12 points and 13 rebounds as the Green Bay women's basketball team defeated Youngstown State, 65-56, Thursday night at the Kress Center.

Allie LeClaire added 10 points and Frankie Wurtz chipped in with eight for the Phoenix, which improved to 13-2 on the season, 3-1 in Horizon League play.

Green Bay, which outscored the Penguins, 28-10, in the pain, will return to action Saturday against Cleveland State at the Kress Center at 1 p.m.
