Oshkosh baseball beats Stevens Point in WIAC tournament

STEVENS POINT, Wis.- Fourth-seeded UW-Oshkosh defeated top-seed UW-Stevens Point 5-3 in the first round of the WIAC tournament.

Nicholas Shiu had two HR on the game, a two-run blast in the 5th and a solo home run in the eighth.

Connor Brinkman got the win, striking out six in seven innings of work.

The Titans will play La Crosse on Friday in the winner's bracket.
