Field set for D3 baseball championship at Fox Cities Stadium

GRAND CHUTE (WLUK) – The field has now been set – one day late due to weather – for the NCAA Division 3 baseball championship, hosted by Fox Cities Stadium.

Play begins Friday, and continues through Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on how many games are needed for the best-of-3 finals between the two pool winners.

Five teams punched their ticket Sunday: Concordia-Chicago, Oswego State, Randolph-Macon, Texas Lutheran, and Swarthmore.

Three regionals couldn’t complete play Sunday due to the weather. Joining the field Monday were Wooster, Misericordia, and Texas-Tyler.

Friday's games are:

Oswego State vs. UT-Tyler, 10 a.m.
Randloph-Macon vs. Misericodia, 1:15 p.m.

Pool B
Concordia-Chicago vs. Swarthmore, 4:30 p.m.
Wooster vs. Texas Lutheran, 7:45 p.m.
