OSHKOSH (WLUK) -- The Wisconsin Herd's first-ever opening day roster is set.

The Oshkosh-based team is an affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, playing in the NBA G League.

The roster includes Gary Payton II and Joel Bolomboy, who the Bucks have signed to two-way contracts. A two-way contract means the player can spend some time playing with the Bucks, but the majority of his time with the Herd.

Former University of Wisconsin player Vitto Brown, who was on the Herd's training camp roster, was waived.

The Herd is planning a Meet the Team party at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Fox River Brewing Company, 1501 Arboretum Dr., Oshkosh.

The 12-player team takes the court Monday in Hidalgo, Texas, against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. A watch party is set for the Fox River Brewing Company, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The Herd's first game in Wisconsin will be Nov. 17. It will be played at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee because of delays in the construction of Menominee Nation Arena in Oshkosh.

The Herd's first home game in Oshkosh is set for Dec. 1.
