(WLUK) -- Ten Democrats and Republican Gov. Scott Walker made their cases to party supporters at conventions this spring.
The candidates are running for governor in this fall's election. The primary election is Aug. 14, with the general election Nov. 6.
Here are the candidates' full speeches at party conventions:
The Democratic Party of Wisconsin held its convention June 1-2 in Oshkosh.
Tony Evers has been the superintendent of the state Department of Public Instruction since 2009.
Matt Flynn is a former chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin.
Mahlon Mitchell is president of the Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin, a firefighters' union.
Mike McCabe is founder and president of Blue Jean Nation, a group focused on encouraging involvement in government.
Josh Pade is a political activist.
Kelda Roys is a small business owner and former state legislator.
Paul Soglin is mayor of Madison, having served three separate tenures since the 1970s.
Kathleen Vinehout is a dairy farmer and college professor. She has served in the state Senate since 2007.
The Republican Party of Wisconsin held its convention May 11-13 in Milwaukee.
Scott Walker, the incumbent in the race, is in his second term as governor.
