(WLUK) -- State Rep. Andre Jacque defeats Alex Renard in the Senate race.

Jacque was declared the unofficial winner with 52 percent of the votes, beating Renard by 330 votes.

Caleb Frostman won for the Democrats.

He ran unopposed.

The general election is June 12.

"I'm humbled to be able to continue forward and have the support of his constituents and you know it's not about me, it's about the people of the district. You know we had a lot thrown at us, we had just an enormous amount of expenditures and independent groups it feels good," Jacque said.

The second race in Wisconsin Tuesday was the 42nd Assembly District.

The seats came open when Gov. Scott Walker appointed the incumbents to his administration.
