Florida student scores a perfect 1600 on SAT

RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. (WPEC) — M.I.T. Princeton. Harvard.

Those are some of the colleges Justin Ricketts is looking at.

Justin, a 17-year-old rising senior at Suncoast High School in Riviera Beach, scored a perfect 1600 on the SAT.

He has some big-name schools in his sights.

I definitely want to go to school in New England, hopefully, so those are my top choices right now," he said.

Justin, of Lake Worth, hopes to become a neurosurgeon someday.

He has a busy summer. He just came back from nationals for debate in Kentucky. He'll be president of the debate team at Suncoast this fall.

This week, he's off to Boston where he'll attend the Research Institute at M.I.T. for an exclusive program where he'll study visual tension.
