Would-be robber leaves after bank teller denies request for money
GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- A simple "no" was all it took to thwart a bank robbery on Green Bay's west side Thursday.
Police say the would-be robber walked in to Associated Bank, 1482 W. Mason St., Thursday morning and demanded money from the teller. When the teller denied the request and began speaking with another teller, police say the would-be robber turned around and left.
No weapons were shown.
No description of the suspect was given.
Officers continue to investigate the attempted robbery.
