MENASHA (WLUK) -- Officials are trying to determine the cause of a woman's death after her body was found on the railroad tracks, Menasha police say.
The body was found Sunday around 6:30 a.m. near the intersection of Water Street and Lush Street.
Police say the woman's body was covered in snow and appeared to have been there for a few hours.
All the footprints in the snow near the body were either determined to be hers or accounted for, police say.
No trains or railroad equipment had come through the area between the time the woman fell on the tracks to the time she was found.
Police say there are no immediate indications of foul play and the public does not appear to be in any danger.
An autopsy is scheduled in Milwaukee this week, police say.
