Woman drags officers in car during traffic stop

OSHKOSH (WLUK) -- A traffic stop lead to two officers being dragged in a woman's car Thursday afternoon.

Oshkosh police pulled over a 26-year-old woman around 3:37 p.m. on Doty Street near 17th Avenue in Oshkosh.

Police say the woman gave the officers a fake name, then tried to drive away while two officers were partially in the car.

The woman dragged both of the officers in her car, then hit one of them after he pulled himself out.

She then hit a home and front porch before running from the scene, according to officials.

Police were able to take her into custody, and the 1600 block of Doty Street is temporarily closed because of the incident.
