Veteran groups, soldiers to gather for 4th annual Appleton Cemetery Veteran Salute Tour

APPLETON (WLUK) -- Northeast Wisconsin veteran groups and members of the military will come together Sunday to salute fallen soldiers at each cemetery in Appleton.
The Annual Appleton Cemetery Veteran Salute Tour honors veterans who died while serving in the military and were buried in each cemetery in Appleton.
The salutes include a short prayer or tribute, a memorial wreath, a rifle volley and the playing of Taps.
The fourth annual event begins at noon on Sunday at the Riverside Cemetery.

)Participants will then process as a convoy to the American Legion Plot in St. Joseph Cemetery. They will continue to procession to Moses Montefiore Cemetery, Highland Memorial Park and St. Mary's Cemetery.
