Vehicle crashes into Suamico fire station

SUAMICO (WLUK) -- Firefighters in Suamico didn't have too far to go while responding to a crash on Tuesday.

The Suamico Fire Department says it responded to a report around 7:30 p.m. of the crash at the village's fire station #1.

While no firefighters were at the station at the time, some happened to be training nearby and were able to quickly respond.

A male driver was treated and released on scene, and the building sustained minor damage, according to the department.
