MANITOWOC (WLUK) -- A $7 million renovation project at the University of Wisconsin-Manitowoc is complete.

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the newly renovated Founders Hall Wednesday.

The building hadn't been significantly updated since 1962.

The project included moving and updating the library, creating a new science commons and updating art studios, science labs and classrooms.

Demolition began in May 2017.

During the construction, classes met in temporary spaces on campus.
