TOWN OF NASHVILLE (WLUK) -- Two women were arrested during a traffic stop in Forest County after officers say they found a number of illegal drugs inside the vehicle.

Around noon on Wednesday, the Forest County Drug Task Force pulled a vehicle over in the town of Nashville for a motor vehicle violation.

Detectives say they smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

A search of the vehicle found large amounts of crack cocaine, methamphetamine, Oxycodone pills, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, officials say.

Both the driver of the vehicle, 26-year-old Dianna Cooper of Milwaukee, and the passenger, 29-year-old Alicia Thunder of Crandon, were taken into custody.

Cooper and Thunder have not been formally charged.

Investigators say they are recommending multiple charges against the two including felony possession of illegal drugs, disorderly conduct and resisting and obstructing an officer.
