OSHKOSH (WLUK) -- A kitten taken from the Oshkosh Area Humane Society nearly two weeks ago has returned.

The shelter says they received several tips over the weekend that led to Spanky's return.

“We are just overjoyed he is here, he’s safe and he is healthy. It’s really all we could’ve hoped,” said OAHS executive director, Joni Geiger.

The details of Spanky's return will not be released, the shelter says.

Due to multiple people giving the shelter information, it's working out the details of the offered $500 reward.
