ASHWAUBENON (WLUK) -- Another reminder for folks to stay off the ice, after two fishermen had to be rescued off thin ice on the Fox River.
Ashwaubenon Public Safety was called around 6 p.m. Thursday by a resident who noticed the men.
They were trying to make their way to shore, but they were breaking through the thin ice.
Rescuers had to go into the water with wet suits and a rescue raft.
The fishermen were brought to shore safely.
