GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- During the national anthem some Packers players stood and linked arms while others sat down before they played the Packers-Bengals game.

Aaron Rodgers posted a photo on his Instagram account before the game.

On Friday and Saturday, President Donald Trump said NFL said owners should fire players who kneel during the anthem, and fans should consider walking out in protest. He continued tweeting Sunday and said kneeling is not acceptable during "The Star Spangled Banner."

Players from other NFL teams chose to stay in the locker room or took a knee during the anthem.

Coming up tonight on FOX 11 News at Nine, we'll hear what fans have to say about the recent events and if it's keeping them from watching NFL games.
