GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- Sometimes... you just forget the words.

That's exactly what happened at Sunday's Packers game when Frank Hermans stepped up to the mic to sing the "The Star-Spangled Banner."

In a YouTube video posted by Samantha Sparks, Hermans sings a couple of lines in the song but a portion of it didn't go as planned.

Hermans started off with, "What so proudly we hail’d at the twilight’s last gleaming" but fumbled the next few lines.

In the video posted by Sparks, some of those around her looked confused while others laughed.

Hermans posted on Facebook that he filled in for someone who couldn't make it.

Hermans says his nerves got to him and as the flag came out on the field, a woman fell as did another person.

"...kind of threw me off my game, still no excuse. I've sung the song 1000 times. Thank you Packers for the opportunity, I will prepare better next time if asked," he said.
