OSHKOSH (WLUK) -- The sound of sirens, and flashing lights Sunday night are what called Caesar Raygoza outside to his porch.

"We saw six to eight, they looked like SWAT cops, on the other side of our street, and rifles, and a guard dog," explained Raygoza.

He lives in the same 800 block of Waugoo Avenue, where police say three people were involved in a shooting.

Authorities say it happened around 9 p.m. Sunday.

"Gun fire was exchanged, between two of them," explained Officer Kate Mann of Oshkosh Police.

Mann says at this time, it is unclear what led up to the incident, but says an 18-year-old Appleton man, who was shot, has died.

She says the second person, a 25-year-old Oshkosh man, was treated for a gunshot wound, and released.

Mann says the third person involved, they're still looking for, "We're really not sure who exactly exchanged gunfire, we think possibly the 18-year-old. But again, we're still searching for a third male to see what his involvement was."

While the caution tape has now been removed, Raygoza says he is hoping answers come soon, "It was late last night, for us at least, having a newborn, and 14-month-old, we we're just like what's going on our street."

Police are still looking for another man, for whom they do not have a specific description, but is believed to be in his late teens or early 20s. He might be armed, police say.

Police say this was an isolated incident and investigators do not believe the public is in danger.
