Oshkosh police investigating physical disturbance

UPDATE: Police say both men have been identified. The investigation is ongoing.


OSHKOSH (WLUK) -- Oshkosh police say they are looking for two men believed to be connected to a disturbance that injured another man.

Police say around 3:00 p.m. on Monday they were called to the 2100 block of Koeller Street for a disturbance involving several people.

When officers arrived on scene, everyone was gone.

Police were able to track down a 46-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman connected to the disturbance.

The man told police two other men caused injuries to his face and took $200 cash and credit cards from him. He said no weapons were used in the incident.

The man was ultimately arrested for multiple outstanding warrants and found to have methamphetamine in his possession, police say.

The woman was also arrested on bail-jumping charges and possession of drug paraphernalia.
