Officials: Procter and Gamble paper machine catches fire

GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- A paper machine at Procter and Gamble caught fire Saturday just after 6:30 p.m., according to the Green Bay Metro Fire Department.

Officials said there were no injuries but when they arrived fire and heavy smoke was coming from a production area of the mill.

"Additional alarms were requested for on scene resources to provide coverage for the city," officials said.

They went on to say they were able to get the fire under control quickly.

Crews were on scene for about 75 minutes.
