OSHKOSH (WLUK) -- At EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, a brand new technology was unveiled.

It is called a mobile micro grid and is designed by Faith Technologies.

The micro grid contains three energy resources: solar, battery and a fuel cell.

The first-of-its-kind technology was used to charge another first-of-its-kind electrical plane.

An employee of Faith Technologies says the company wants to make a difference with renewable energy.

"With the changing in the world, with everything that's happening from an energy standpoint, we wanted to be able to create renewable energy. There's also lots of remote places that don't have power so you can't get utility power easily. This unit you can get anywhere," said Matt Sabee, director of technology solutions.

Sabee says the units also provide reliability and sustainability to clean energy for the environment.
