Menasha roofing contractor cited by OSHA
APPLETON (WLUK) -- Federal officials say for the sixth time in five years, a Menasha roofing contractor has been cited for repeatedly exposing employees to falls.
The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) says it has cited Carols Ketz, operator of Ketz Roofing, after inspectors say they saw employees working without adequate fall protection on a commercial building in Appleton.
OSHA has proposed penalties totaling $48,777.
The company has 15 business days after it receives citations to comply or contest the findings.
