GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- A man has died in a motorcycle crash on the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay campus.

Shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Friday, UW-Green Bay Campus Police were sent to the intersection of North Circle Drive and East Circle Drive for vehicle headlights in the ditch.

Upon arrival, they saw a motorcycle had gone off the roadway and hit brush in the Cofrin Arboretum.

Officers were able to find the driver of the motorcycle, a 22-year-old Green Bay man who was unresponsive and pinned under the motorcycle.

UW-Green Bay Campus Police and the Green Bay Metro Fire Department administered medical attention, but the driver died from his injuries.

Police say the driver was wearing a helmet.

The driver was not a UW-Green Bay student, according to police.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, and the Green Bay Police Department will release more information as it becomes available.
