Escaped Dodge Co. Jail inmate captured in Wauwatosa

UPDATE: Dylan Farber was captured by Wauwatosa police around 2:30 p.m., the Dodge County Sheriff's Office reports.

Sheriff's officials say they will investigate the escape to make sure it doesn't happen again.

The sheriff's office did not have information on whether the stolen SUV was found.



The sheriff's department believes Farber stole a vehicle in Juneau, sometime after 2 a.m.

The release from the department states: "The stolen vehicle is a 1999 GM Suburban, tan in color. It can also be identified by WI license plate number 518ZXT. Anyone with information that is not current please contact the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office at (920) 386-3726. If members of the public see this vehicle and know its current location, do not approach or attempt to make contact, and please call 911 immediately. "


DODGE COUNTY (WLUK) -- The Dodge County Sheriff's Department is looking for an escaped jail inmate.

Officials say 30-year-old Dylan Farber left the jail around 2 a.m. Friday.

He was being held in jail on a charge of fleeing and eluding a law enforcement officer.

He was last seen in Juneau wearing khaki pants, a green shirt and orange shoes.

Officials say Farber should be considered dangerous.
