PULASKI (WLUK) -- A man wanted for a domestic violence incident led authorities on a chase through a Pulaski neighborhood Tuesday.

Pulaski police say it all started when an officer located the 38-year-old suspect, who also had a felony warrant for his arrest, just after 2:00 p.m.

When the officer attempted to make a traffic stop, the suspect fled.

A Wisconsin State Trooper saw the Pulaski officer trying to stop the suspect vehicle and assisted.

Police say the suspect got out of the vehicle and ran into the home of his girlfriend in the 200 block of Front Street.

When the officer and the trooper followed the suspect into the home, the suspect dove out of a window, police say.

The suspect then ran into an unlocked home in the 100 block of Lincoln Street and stayed inside until the homeowner arrived.

The suspect ran out of the home when the homeowner returned and called 911.

The suspect then entered an unlocked garage in the 200 block of Johnson Street where he was arrested.

According to the Shawano County Sheriff's Department, one of its K9 officers helped with the arrest of the suspect.

As a precaution, Glenbrook School was placed on lockdown while police searched the area for the suspect.
