NEENAH (WLUK) -- Two Special Olympics athletes in Neenah received some surprising news.
During Monday morning's homecoming assembly at Neenah High School, it was announced that junior, Chris Jones, and recent graduate, Corey Ehrgott, were chosen to represent Team Wisconsin at the Special Olympics USA games for the sport of basketball.
The games are held every four years and will be held next summer in Seattle.
The athletes say they're excited for next summer.
"I was shocked. I was so happy. I'm on the news and I'm going to Seattle, Washington," Ehrgott said.
Team Wisconsin is made up of ten athletes.
They will compete in basketball, bocce ball, swimming and track.
