GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- A man who allegedly set fire to his apartment and tried to escape naked from the police is competent to stand trial, a judge ruled Friday.

Dmitry Morozov faces 10 charges, including eight counts of recklessly endangering safety.

The three-day trial is scheduled for Dec. 12, court records show.

According to the criminal complaint, Ashwaubenon Public Safety officers had contact April 9 with Morozov because the downstairs neighbor complained about water coming through the ceiling. Morozov was ordered to clean up the water.

Later in the day, officers again responded to his apartment for a fire, where a naked Morozov tried to escape out a window. Officers grabbed him and arrested him. They noticed something smoking on the stove, and a disabled fire alarm outside the apartment, the complaint states. Morozov denied doing anything wrong.
