HOBART (WLUK) -- Firefighters say they battled a house fire in Hobart on Monday night.
It happened at a home on W. Mason St. near County Highway GE around 9:30 p.m.
Hobart Fire Chief Jerry Lancelle said the home was fully-involved when crews arrived. No one was inside at the time.
"The house was unoccupied at the time. It's being renovated, so the homeowners were living in another home at the time," said Chief Lancelle.
Firefighters had the fire under control in about an hour.
There is no estimate on damage to the home, but Chief Lancelle told FOX 11 it is considered a total loss.
No firefighters were hurt.
