Male shot in the leg on Green Bay's east side
GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- Green Bay police say they are investigating after a male was shot in the leg on the city’s east side.
Police say it started in the 800 block of East Walnut Street and ended in the 100 block of South Van Buren Street.
Witnesses reported hearing up to four rounds of gunshots going off around 4:45 p.m.
Two rounds were recovered at the Walnut Street location.
Green Bay police captain, John Laux, says the victim is being “less than cooperative.”
Laux says the victim reported being shot by a laundromat on Webster Avenue but says that story doesn’t match with what the investigation is piecing together.
No one is in custody but police say the shooter is a man.
Police say this was an isolated incident and the public is not in danger.
The male’s injuries are non-life threatening.
Police could not confirm the victim's age.
