GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- Power outages and flooding scattered Green Bay’s east side after heavy rain came down Monday night.

Main and Mason streets experienced major flooding.

Fire crews were going business to business on Main Street to safely remove employees.

Employees at Dollar Tree, Arby’s and Pick ‘N Save had to receive help getting out of work.

FOX 11 spoke with a woman in the parking lot of Advance Auto Parts who was waiting for her daughter to get out of work at Arby’s, which is across the street. She said it was tough not having communication with her, but felt better knowing safety crews were helping get her safely out of the building.

Many streets remain blocked off because of high water. Emergency crews are asking people to stay home until the water is cleared from most roads.
