Monument dedicated to key architect of Lombardi-era Packers
A man who helped build Vince Lombardi's legendary Super Bowl champions, was honored Wednesday.
A dedication was held for the Jack Vainisi monument on Lombardi Avenue.
Vainisi was called the "Architect of the Dynasty" and was a talent scout who helped build the teams Lombardi coached to two Super Bowls.
The monument will mark the entryway to the new Titletown district.
Packers President, Mark Murphy, says the monument is a great addition to the community, "I think this is another great way for our fans to connect with our history and to connect with Lambeau Field."
The project was commissioned and paid for by Jack Vainisi's brother Sam.
