GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- Check your wallets. There's counterfeit money making its way around the area.

Green Bay Police say if you look closely at the bills, you'll notice some Chinese symbols on them.

Investigators say, so far, they have found seven bills in Green Bay and Ashwaubenon.

They are still looking for the source of the money.

"The money has Chinese symbols on it. This is odd. The money is clearly counterfeit," said Capt. Kevin Warych, Green Bay Police Department. "But if you don't look closely, it looks very authentic and we're altering the community to be conscious of the money they are taking, so they don't become victim to this fraud."

Green Bay Police are asking anyone with information to give them a call. The number is 920-448-3200.
