Equestrians offer horseback rides for kids and adults
HOBART (WLUK) -- Exceptional Equestrians held its "18th Annual Horse Show" Saturday.
The non-profit provides horseback therapies to individuals with disabilities throughout northeast Wisconsin.
At the show, children who use the facility year-round got to show their families what the program is all about.
There were riding demonstrations, trophy presentations, a picnic lunch and games.
Family members were even given the chance to ride some of the horses.
"It's something they can be proud of and they can talk about year round. And when their family and friends get to see it, they get to talk about it and have good memories together too," said Nancy Williquette with Exceptional Equestrians.
The free event also served as fundraiser.
The organization relies mostly on charitable donations to operate.
