Green Bay teacher will return to Aldo Leopold after drug charges dropped
GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- A Green Bay teacher will return to her position at Aldo Leopold Community School, after the district considered reassigning her.
Earlier this week, Bridget DaPra didn't know if she would teach at the school again. The Green Bay Area School District considered reassigning DaPra after she was arrested in May on misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Her arrest came after her husband, Lucas DaPra, was indicted by a federal grand jury for possession of child pornography, sexual exploitation of a child and distribution of child porn.
Bridget DaPra's charges were dropped in June.
Green Bay Area Public School District Director of Communications says the decision was made in collaboration between Bridget, the School Board, District administration and school administration.
DaPra will return to her position in the 2018-19 school year.
