Green Bay police warn of daytime burglaries on west side

GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- A rash of recent daytime burglaries has kept police busy on the west side of Green Bay.

Officers say locations include the areas of Hickory Hill and Ridge roads, the 1700 block of Arnold Drive and the 300 block of Wilson Avenue.

Police are recommending the following steps to keep your property safe:

  • Keep windows and doors locked.
  • Keep a watchful eye out for your neighbors, especially paying attention to elderly neighbors and their homes.
  • Watch for suspicious people. Report those knocking on doors for illegitimate purposes.
  • Keep records of serial numbers of valuables, especially guns in the house.
