Green Bay apartment complex washing machines damaged, coins stolen

GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- Green Bay police are investigating a string of thefts from washing machines in apartment complexes.

Police say they received six reports of washing machines being damaged and broken into. They are: 1500, 1600, 1700 block of Western Ave and the 300 BLK of Locust Street.

So far, $1,500 worth of quarters were taken.

Police believe more than one suspect is involved and may have a key to access the washing machines.
